I am a qualified and experienced consultant in canine behaviour and training based near Warrington/St Helens in North West England.
I have a Level 6 (degree equivalent) diploma in Applied Canine Behaviour Management. This is an Ofqual recognised qualification which I obtained following 18 months of study plus practical hands on learning with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training.
I also have 25 years experience of living with dogs in a multi-dog household.
I offer face to face dog behaviour and training consultations,
video consultations and new puppy consultations
Continuing in a stressful, unhappy relationship with your dog benefits no one, so contact me to find out how I can help you to improve your relationship with your dog.
I work with all breed types and all kinds of behavioural issues. My goal is to work with owners to unlock their dog’s potential and help you to live a safe, fulfilled and enjoyable life together.
Consultations can take place face to face or by video/phone.
With the right training and upbringing, dogs enrich our lives by providing us with companionship, sometimes assistance and often, lots of affection.
However, these wonderful human/canine relationships don’t always just happen and things can go wrong resulting in dogs who become difficult to manage, suffer stress and can become dangerous.
Fortunately, dogs have a great ability to ‘live in the moment’ and so, with the right knowledge and support, they can typically be rehabilitated into wonderful companions.
I have the knowledge, skills and experience to help you make the necessary changes to your dogs’ behaviour – I just ask that you have the commitment and desire to work with me to implement the necessary changes.
As an owner, you have a huge part to play in reforming your dogs’ behaviour - I can advise, teach, demonstrate and guide, but ultimately it is you who has to consistently do what it takes to make the changes happen.
All one to one consultations are confidential, detailed and interactive. When possible, they take place at your home to ensure that any techniques work within your environment. I will work with you to ensure that the recommended activities are achievable within your daily routine and that you are comfortable with the techniques and any equipment used.
I will be honest and realistic about solutions for managing, reducing or stopping problem behaviours.
